About Alisa

I am furthering my education in Biology after a life-long interest for the mechanisms of the human body. As a passionate and diligent student, I have excelled in topics such as molecular biology, anatomy, and science research throughout high school and my undergrad. An interesting fact about me is that I hope to attend medical school and am gaining experience in emergency medical services, which has required me to hone into my knowledge of anatomy. Further, I am an older sister of two, brother and sister, whom I have helped for many years with their school work. This has shaped my love for and brought me so much experience helping younger students understand the material they are learning.

About the lesson

I approach teaching younger student up to grade 12 with their science course work by helping with memorization, ensuring they understand the information, and honing into individual areas of struggle. I plan my lessons according to the unique goals of each student and include a free introductory lesson. I enjoy being able to explain concepts, help younger students understand what they are learning, and inspire them to be interested in the subject.
