About Alexis
As a current undergraduate student at the University of St. Andrews, I understand the necessity of having a teacher who is patient, supportive, and caters to your needs. My previous experience in tutoring languages has allowed me to create a method of teaching that does this.
In the past, I have been fair, yet firm and my students have reached their full potential. I am determined to continue to encourage younger students and help them in their journey to achieving top-class grades.

I believe creating personalised teaching plans based on the student's needs is essential. These will focus on enhancing the student's confidence in using the language in a variety of ways. Lessons will feature grammar, translation, and oral work that matches the student's language level.
My 1-1 lessons typically last 30-60 minutes and will take place at least once a week. I am currently completing my undergraduate degree at the University of St. Andrews in Russian and History. I achieved an A* in both these subjects at A-Level. Previously, I tutored school pupils in French and Russian for 18 months.
My lessons and skills are best suited to school pupils or first-year undergraduate students.
