About Raisa
Hi future students! My name is Raisa Choudhury and I am thrilled to embark on this journey of teaching English Literature and Maths as your tutor.
As an avid reader and passionate lover of literature, I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with each and every one of you.
My goal is not only to help you excel in your exams but also to ignite a lifelong love for literature within you. With a deep understanding of the subject matter and a commitment to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment, I am determined to be the best teacher I can be.

I gather extracts that I learn about beforehand so any questions that are asked can be answered.
I make my own resources which are given to students to help them not only in my lessons but in school as well - this includes exam tips and strategies of analysis.
Exam prep is always mentioned - ways of tackling all styles of essay questions in papers to receive the top marks in that exam.
My typical lesson time is 1 hour but this can be extended to another half hour if i feel it necessary for the student's improvement.
I am currently teaching other students in secondary school who will soon start their GCSE curriculum and I have had prior experience of teaching in primary schools. I can also do english and maths lessons for primary schools ages of EYFS to Year 6.
My typical students I would prefer to be Year 9, 10 and Year 11 or primary school age from year 1 - 6 (Primary school children may be accompanied by their parent or carer during the lesson if they so wish.)
