About Hannah

Hello there! My name is Hannah Kim. As a senior at UNC Chapel Hill, I have a strong passion for education and helping students reach their academic goals. I have a track record of success in standardized testing, a high GPA, and enriching extracurriculars. As a volunteer summer camp counselor, I had the opportunity to work with children from pre-school to elementary school, assisting them with basic tutoring in math and reading subjects. At UNC, I have actively taken on leadership roles that have enriched my skills as an educator and mentor. I serve as the secretary of a public health organization, where I engage with students to promote health initiatives and acts of service on campus. Additionally, as the Academic and Professional Development Chair for a law fraternity, I have gained skills in knowing how to support and guide fellow students in their pre-law academic endeavors. I believe in recognizing each student's unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles to tailor my tutoring sessions accordingly. About the lesson

Hi! My name is Hannah Kim, and I'm hoping I can offer my skills as a Spanish tutor for students at the elementary to high school level. As a college student pursuing a degree in public health, I have a deep-rooted passion for both education and Spanish language and culture. Having previously pursued a Spanish minor during my academic journey, I have immersed myself in the language for over seven years. Throughout this time, I've honed my Spanish skills and developed a strong understanding of the grammar and vocabulary. As a college student, I know the importance of continuous learning and improvement. I am eager to share my knowledge and experience with young learners who are just beginning their journey into the Spanish language. My tutoring approach is designed to cater to the unique needs and learning styles of each student. Whether your child is just starting with Spanish Level 1 or advancing to Level 2, I am willing to create organized lesson plans to ensure they grasp the fundamentals while enjoying the learning process. Interactive activities, engaging conversations, and routinely practical exercises are ways I would make the sessions productive and enriching. Whether they need help with vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, or just want to practice conversing, I'm here to help them gain confidence and proficiency.
