About Jasper
As an undergraduate student who is self-taught, I know how it feels to struggle and not understand math. As an undergraduate student, I am always faced with things that I do not understand, but you will eventually be able to appreciate that it is common to feel this way, and that is not a bad thing.
As I am new to formal tutoring, My goal is to give you critical thinking skills and to see mathematics as a subject that is not about formulas and memorizing things but as a method, for you to look at a problem and understand its underlying mechanics and why it makes sense based on first principles

I am passionate about mathematical physics and the connections between the two fields.
I would like to help students who are either struggling in mathematics at a GCSE level or equivalent and to show them that mathematics is not about memorizing formulas but is a deep and fundamental structure that can be derived from first principles and enables critical thinking and finding the underlying connections between things.
I have not done formal tutoring in the past, but I am ready to start this journey now and learn from the students. The typical length of a lesson would be an hour.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE students in school or anyone who wants to learn math at that level.
