About Kate
I achieved full marks in English Literature Alevel, as well as an A in AS level English language. I also achieved A grades at A-level Politics and Religious Studies so I am widely experienced with various essay styles. I taught creative writing and poetry to years 7-9 whilst studying at sixthform.

I am a an approachable and empathetic person and I strongly believe in casting no judgement when it comes to teaching. I understand how stressful exams can be and how difficult it is to develop an essay style that works, so I base my teaching on my experience with exam boards and knowledge of what examiners look for in essays to help students approach exams feeling calm and in control.
