About Anastasia

I am a 19-year-old tutor who brings patience and fun to every lesson. With a background in mentoring and working with younger students, including experience as a netball coach in secondary school, I am well-versed in supporting and encouraging students. My approach is nurturing and personalised, aiming to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

About the lesson

I adopt a student-centred approach, tailoring each lesson to address the unique needs and learning styles of my students. Here’s how I conduct my sessions:

Teaching Techniques and Methodology: I use a blend of interactive methods, including practical exercises, real-world applications, and personalised feedback. For marketing, I incorporate case studies and current industry trends to make learning engaging and relevant. For subjects like Geography and Psychology, I employ visual aids and hands-on activities to reinforce concepts. My approach is flexible, adapting to the student’s progress and feedback to ensure comprehension and retention.

Typical Length of a Lesson: Each lesson usually lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. This duration allows sufficient time for instruction, interactive activities, and addressing any questions or difficulties the student may have.

Qualifications and Experience: I am currently an undergraduate student studying Marketing, with additional qualifications in A-Level Geography and Psychology, and a BTEC in Marketing. My background also includes strong GCSEs in English Literature and Language, PE, Media Studies, and Geography. I bring practical experience from my studies and am adept at breaking down complex concepts into understandable parts.

Target Audience: My lessons are aimed at students across various levels, from GCSE to A-Level. I support high school students needing assistance with their coursework or exam preparation, as well as those looking to enhance their understanding of marketing concepts. I also offer help to students interested in improving their skills in Geography and Psychology.
