About Sanya

English has always felt like home to me and a big reason for that is my mom, who patiently taught me English all through my school years and made sure it was something I enjoyed, not feared. Watching how her guidance opened up books, stories and opportunities for me is what makes me so passionate about passing that same comfort and confidence in English on to younger learners. She is also the one who encouraged me to pursue law and nurtured my love for literature, so teaching English now feels like a very natural extension of everything she poured into me. I am an avid lover of reading and writing. I read widely and write poetry and short articles on Substack, often drawing from my own experiences and the small moments that have shaped who I am. That habit of observing, reflecting and expressing myself in words was strongly encouraged by a school teacher who supported me in my formative years and it taught me how powerful language can be for a child's confidence and inner world. Because of this, when I teach pre-primary and primary students, I do not just focus on rules; I try to give them the same safe, encouraging space I received to explore stories, find their voice and slowly fall in love with English in their own way.

About the lesson

My English classes feel more like fun story time and discovery than a strict English lecture. I keep everything very simple so children never feel pressured or scared to speak up. I work mainly with pre‑primary and primary students, helping them with phonics, vocabulary, reading fluency, sentence formation and basic grammar. Each class has one small goal, like a sound, a grammar point or a reading skill and we explore it through stories, role plays, picture cards, speaking games and short, easy writing tasks. With a calm, friendly, supportive style and lots of individual attention, even shy or struggling students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and slowly becoming clear, confident young English speakers.
