About Yuyang
As a Chinese native speaker, I grew up in Chinese environment for 18 yrs and learnt Chinese poem, literature and culture for 16 years.
As a tutor, I am patient and organized. I had been a volunteer teacher for students in elementary school, so I promise I will be patient and teach all details as carefully as I can and try my best to answer your questions. But also, I will be strict if you do not understand while nor ask questions.

Lesson plan: I will start from pronunciation rule of vocabulary. Each lesson, I will find a short Chinese story or joke to warm up, which usually contain some content or vocal from last class. Then, I will throw out a little longer story, and read through it, find the vocal for this class from the story, and relate its meaning and pronunciation with the story or vocal we learned before to better memorize. At the end, I will let the student listen to me talking about that story in simple Chinese to see if you can understand my words.
Technique: I will usually use power point and share the screen with the student to teach.
Degree: The lesson plan above is for Beginners in Chinese. If you can speak Chinese fluently, the first class will be used to talk with you in both Chinese and English to evaluate what level of articles and dialogues should you use.
