About Lottie

I am currently an undergraduate, studying French and Russian. I achieved all 9s in my GCSEs and all As and A*s in my A-levels, which were French, English literature and Politics. I love studying languages because I am passionate about travelling and meeting new people from all over the world, as well as interested in the culture, music, architecture and history of my chosen countries. In my free time I love to dance and play the piano.

About the lesson

I completely believe that one of the biggest obstacles for french speaking at schools is CONFIDENCE, and unfortunately schools can't always provide enough time and opportunity for students to practice and build their confidence during lesson time. I also understand that in a big class, it can sometimes be daunting to put yourself out there and try. That's why I am available for half hour sessions to help students with their general conversation skills for both GCSE and A-level students as well as A-level coursework presentations to build confidence while improving their grammar and pronunciation in a fun and relaxed way. I have two years of experience helping with this already in a secondary school and find it exceptionally rewarding to see students gain confidence and passion for the language and the joy of communicating.
