About Jessica

I am currently studying General Engineering at university, containing both Maths and Physics it allows me to explore and increase my knowledge in both fields. I am a passionate problem solver and through my studies I am frequently required to tackle complex maths and physics challenges.

About the lesson

I believe that to be able to absorb information efficiently through revision it is necessary to fully understand the content. This is extremely important especially in fields such as Maths and Physics as even the application of a basic formula requires you to first, recognise which formula to select that would provide you with the most efficient route to your solution, then you must know how to apply the formula to the question. Therefore, I ensured that at each level of the content I was able to fully understand each component in depth and utilise the information given by applying it to an exam style question. This is how I will structure revision and even how I’d cover new content, I am willing to spend as much time as is necessary to allow my students to fully grasp the basics of the content and to demonstrate a strong capability to apply the content before further progressing. This style will both increase a student’s confidence with new topics but also help to further progress their capabilities in previously covered topics.
