The first thing I do is assess your student's knowledge and gain a good understanding of what he/she struggles with. After assessing the weaknesses, I will ensure that your student has a strong fundamental understanding of the basics before teaching advanced theory. A typical lesson plan will include a teaching, practice, and reflection segment. Ideally, I would like to take a look at the material beforehand and prepare additional material based on the weak points established in the previous lesson. That way, each lesson is productive and efficient. These lessons are for math students who need help from elementary to early high school.
