About Lucas
Hi, I'm Lucas and I'm here to help. I remember many times throughout my education struggling with studies and feeling anxious about my grades. But I can assure you that I, and many others have been in your shoes, and no matter how uncertain you are, you can succeed in your studies and examinations.
I have had much experience not only being tutored, but tutoring myself, so I know exactly the sort of topics and techniques that most struggle on, and I also know the key tips and tricks to make it easy.

I use a Socratic teaching method. I found this the most effective way for me to learn at school, and currently at university. The Socratic method has been heavily studied and found to be one of the most effective teaching methods.
1 tutoring session with me lasts an hour.
I have my GCSE and A-Level qualifications, achieving 4 9's (Maths, Physics, Chemistry and RS) and 6 8's at GCSE. I am now studying Engineering at the University of Exeter and currently averaging 72% on completed assessments so far (First class).
As stated before, I have over 2 years of tutoring experience, mainly teaching primary school children. Although I have also tutored GCSE students in Maths, Physics and Chemistry many times in that period.
My lessons are for GCSE students, or children aged 11-16. I am also happy to teach 11+ and 13+ material.
