About Eddy
I am an undergraduate pre-medicine student who is very passionate about Human Physiology, Chemistry, and the intersections they meet at to explain bodily phenomena. I am currently in my 3rd year about to finish my last medical school prerequisite (Biochemistry II) and preparing to take the MCAT this coming summer of '24. As mentioned elsewhere, I work as a Gen Chem II TA, a part-time grader for OChem I/II, and I am also EMT certified. These positions allow me to engage in continuous learning and strengthen my expertise. I may teach chemistry but I do so with a biological lens thanks to the courses I take at school. Hence, I am still very knowledgeable about Biochemistry and human physiology, both classes I am currently taking and excelling at.

I encourage simplification methods as much as possible. For example, mnemonics, catchy acronyms, and visualization exercises. This is the basis I use to integrate the Feynman technique more efficiently; if I can get you to teach it back to me, only then will I be satisfied with the job I have done. What better way is there to teach than using simple language and examples to explain complex topics?
I am a huge fan of active recall and spaced repetition study strategies and I love sharing what works very well for me with others.
I am very patient and will take the time needed to help you understand a concept, not just the time you signed up for. I view our encounters as continued learning for me and a chance to better your understanding.
In a nutshell, I love doing this, but I am also a college student which I why I tend to lean toward positions that can compensate me
