About Jade
As a successful singer and songwriter, I wouldn't have excelled in my abilities without an academic background. In grade school, I participated in both school district and statewide Spelling Bee Championships. In high school, I received several writing and literature awards and helped write a school play for the drama department. As an undergraduate, I am in the Interdisciplinary Studies Program for Creative Writing and Music. Presently, I work in Los Angeles with WEXTRAORDINARY Music Group as a songwriter and vocal trainer helping to develop local artists.

For academic writing, I will prepare short essays to edit and review, readings to summarize, MLA formatting practice, etc. For creative writing lessons, I will ask students to write about themselves or their interests and also extract from creative works like poems and songs to reflect on. Aside from writing, I do enjoy teaching grade school and high school mathematics. Tutoring with me will be personalized and fluctuating, switching things up for less redundancy. I teach grade school, high school, and undergraduate college students. If not attending school, all are welcome to learn and study fruitful skills for everyday use!
