About Devika

Hello!
I am a UGC NET qualified History tutor with experience working as a faculty for competitive examinations. I have a strong academic background in history and a deep interest in teaching the subject in a clear and meaningful way.

My experience as a competitive exam faculty has helped me develop strong conceptual clarity, logical explanations, and structured teaching methods. I focus on explaining historical events with proper timelines, causes, and consequences, so students understand the subject deeply instead of memorizing facts.

I believe a good teacher should make learning simple, engaging, and stress-free. I am patient with students, encourage questions, and ensure that every doubt is cleared before moving forward. My aim is to help students build confidence in history and approach the subject with interest rather than fear.

About the lesson

In my History classes for Classes 5 to 10, I focus on building strong conceptual understanding through story-based explanations, clear timelines, and logical cause–effect analysis.
For Classes 5–7, lessons are interactive and engaging, helping students understand history as a story rather than memorizing facts.
For Classes 8–10, classes are more exam-oriented, with special focus on important questions, answer-writing techniques, and revision strategies.
My aim is to make history easy, interesting, and scoring for every student.
