About CW
I have been active in the performance industry since 2011. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Drama & Theatre Arts from the University of the Free State in 2013 and my Honours Degree with a distinction in the study of the horror genre in 2014. In 2013, I received the Elsa Krantz Medal for my artistic contribution to theatre. My acting biography includes performances at the Free State Arts Festival, such as Tom Gaan Plaas Toe (2022) and Verot (2023), both of which earned me acting nominations, as well as Die Skuldeiser (2023) and Some Mother’s Sons (2016). My directing debut came in 2015 with the cabaret Edith Piaf & Jacques Brel Tribute at the Free State Arts Festival. My biography has since grown to include the ATKV community passion play Daar Is Die Lam (2024) at the Sand du Plessis Theatre in Bloemfontein, as well as the western-themed children's productions of the Wille-Woelle-Weste trilogy. I currently reside in Bloemfontein. In 2019, I worked as a drama teacher at Dreamaker Drama Academy in Beijing, China. I am currently employed as a drama teacher at The Rabbit Theater School in Bloemfontein.

My goal is to help you properly understand and develop the relevant skills for presenting in front of a crowd, be it in school or the office. I will help you develop powerful presenting techniques through practical exercises found in acting, vocal warm-ups for a strong voice; and teach you how to approach the writing of a speech bit by bit. I am proficient in teaching in both Afrikaans and English.
