About Sylvie
Welcome to a completely different way of learning mathematics!
My primary goal is to show you that math doesn't have to be a source of stress or anxiety. I hold a BSc in Mathematics and Psychology, along with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of Cape Town. This unique combination of qualifications means that I do not just focus on the numbers on the page; I specialize in how our brains process complex information, manage frustration, and build genuine, lasting academic confidence.
Throughout my teaching career, I have dedicated myself to professional, data-driven instruction. I have successfully guided entire senior cohorts through massive academic turnarounds, helping students elevate their performance from struggling baselines up to thriving, confident averages by graduation.
