I am a mechanical engineering major at UCLA. I have worked with numerous tutors throughout the course of my academic career and I know how crucial it is for students to feel comfortable asking questions. I am very patient with all students.

This is my approach to tutoring:
1. I will gather information before our first lesson (subject, age/level, areas student feels they are struggling)
2. The approach I take will vary based on each student but the aim is to get them talking. It will be more like a conversation.
3. I encourage students to stop me when they don’t understand anything and to ask questions whenever they need to. We will work on the areas they struggle on, as that will help them the most.
