About Shevanti

Hello! I’m a recent UCLA graduate with a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals. With experience tutoring students of all ages—from elementary school to high school—I specialize in math, science, and coding. Whether you're working on AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, or just getting started with C++ or Python, I’m here to guide you.

I believe learning should be interactive and fun, which is why I tailor each lesson to the individual. I love to create a supportive environment where asking questions is encouraged and confidence is built over time.

Outside of tutoring, I’m an outdoor enthusiast! I love hiking, exploring different beaches, and discovering new dance styles. My goal is not only to help you succeed academically but also to make learning enjoyable and rewarding. Looking forward to working with you!

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is highly interactive and personalized to each student's needs. I prioritize creating an engaging environment by asking questions throughout the lesson to ensure students understand the concepts. This allows me to adapt in real time and address any areas of confusion.

A typical lesson plan begins with a review of previously covered material to reinforce understanding, followed by the introduction of new concepts. I finish each session with review questions that cover both old and new topics to solidify the student's grasp and track progress.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my commitment to truly understanding each student’s unique goals, learning style, and needs. I customize my approach for every individual, working closely with them to ensure we achieve their academic goals together.

My lessons are suitable for a wide range of students, from elementary to high school. I have experience teaching all elementary subjects and specialize in advanced courses like AP Calculus and AP Chemistry. Additionally, I offer coding lessons in C++ and Python, making my tutoring ideal for students seeking help in math, science, or programming
