About Alan
As I have been a student for many years myself, I have always had a hunger for knowledge and a drive to succeed to the best of my academic abilities - as a tutor, I want the same outcome for my students, if not better! I am an outgoing, confident, but reassuring tutor and I am a strong believer in honesty being the best policy between students and tutor, as that way we can avoid any obstacles to reach the desired outcome.

My lessons are designed for any age group including GCSEs and A-Levels and usually last one hour, but I am open to flexibility. My teaching methodology is focused on a strong retention of knowledge, which can be achieved through regular tests of content at the end of every lesson. This way, it keeps the students on their feet and creates a more interactive learning experience. I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience alongside my studies, including both in the UK and abroad in Germany and Ukraine.

Alan was a very good tutor and helped me get an A in Geography A level and get into Oxford! He was always very engaging and patient but also helped to challenge me to learn more. I would definitely recommend him if you want some extra help to get the grades you need.
