About Faisal

Hello!

I'm a part-time tutor who also works at the Bank of England and is enthusiastic about Economics and financial markets. Also, I recently graduated from UCL with First class Honours in Economics.

In my spare-time I enjoy supporting Liverpool FC, watching rugby, going to the gym and reading.

About the lesson

My Economics students have all gone on to achieve a minimum A grade at A-Level or 2:1 in undergraduate modules.

My primary aim is to help students learn how to learn and approach course material with a critical mindset, which is key to succeeding in Economics.
I cover core content and encourage students to question what they learn by engaging in active discussions. I also make this interesting and add practical value by providing real-life examples and supplementary research. Finally, this is all tested with the use of past paper exams, as well as reviewing students' homework/problem sets.
