About Noemi
"Seven years of practice teaching A-level students often reveals that knowing syntax is rarely enough to secure a top tier university offer. My Master of Science in Computer Science from UCL helps me guide candidates towards Imperial or Cambridge by focusing on interview preparation and complex data structures. I also prioritise real world skills like version control using Git, efficient SQL database management, and robust debugging techniques.
This technical foundation supports my work as a homeschool family tutor who values practical engineering over rote memorisation. It is a pleasure to see my students sharpen their logical thinking as they prepare for rigorous academic transitions."

"Code appears on the screen, and we immediately begin refactoring a logic loop to optimise its runtime efficiency for an upcoming internal assessment. My lessons utilise the 7 years of experience gained since graduating from UCL to bridge the gap between classroom theory and university level expectations.
We break down problems into manageable modules while navigating Git repositories to track our progress during the build process. I ensure that Year 12 and 13 students understand how to handle edge cases in their programming tasks.
This approach mimics the workflow found in industry environments, which keeps the work grounded and relevant. We spend time exploring why specific data structures provide better performance for particular algorithmic challenges.
I check in frequently to ensure the logic remains sound as we iterate on the solution. These sessions provide the structure necessary for independent thinking. Learning continues until the logic holds up under scrutiny."
