About Maia
I’m a bubbly and outgoing person who genuinely enjoys connecting with others and making students feel comfortable from the start. Having experienced tutoring myself, I understand how challenging some subjects can feel, which is why I aim to make learning engaging, supportive, and enjoyable. My approach blends creativity with structure, helping students stay motivated while building confidence in their abilities.

Techniques and Teaching Methodology:
I take a personalised, student-focused approach, adapting lessons to each student’s learning style. I simplify complex concepts, use real-world examples, and encourage active participation to build confidence and understanding.
Typical Length of a Lesson:
Lessons usually run for 60 minutes, allowing enough time for concept explanation, guided practice, and feedback. I also offer longer 90-minute sessions for exam revision or assignment support when needed.
Classwork/Homework:
During lessons, we focus on classwork that follows the NSW curriculum/syllabus and support what students are learning in school. Homework is optional — I’m happy to provide homework/ extra practice for students upon request from parents.
Qualifications and Experience:
2025 Year 12 Graduate and have completed the NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) with strong results across English, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Legal Studies. Currently am working as a Science Party Host/Educator

My lessons are designed for students ranging from Years K-10. I also work well with students who need help building foundational understanding, improving study habits, or developing exam-style responses.
