About Louis
I recently graduated with a 1st class in psychology & philosophy at University of Edinburgh and looking to share the skills and experience I have developed! I received a 85% in my dissertation in psychology, and my other qualifications include a level 8 COSCA counselling course, an A in HNC Social sciences and 5 As at Scottish higher in Maths, English, Computing, Graphic Communication and Art.
I've also worked as a tennis coach for the past 8 years so I have plenty experience teaching and creating a fun and encouraging environment to learn.

I approach academia looking to thoroughly understand what I am being taught, not just trying to memorise for an exam. In fact, I know that when I understand things more completely, they stick in my head better so I don't need quite so much boring memorisation! I therefore take the same approach in tutoring, looking to build understanding in my students. I also am particularly passionate about communicating ideas, so I love developing writing skills, critical thinking and logical arguments.
I am still working towards learning syllabuses inside out so I will be most able to help you understand things you are struggling with, rather than directing your study through the qualification
