About Sage

Hello! I am a dedicated tutor specialising in K-12 education across Biology, English, Math, Chemistry, and PDHPE. My passion for teaching is built on a simple philosophy: every student is unique, and their education should be too. What sets my practice apart is a rich, international background. Having been taught by American educators and possessing extensive experience mentoring both Australian and American students, I understand how to navigate and excel within different academic frameworks. I don't believe in one size fits all teaching. Instead, I dynamically adapt to your student's personal learning style using a mix of modern multimedia tools. I'm backed by an expansive, ready-to-use bank of premium textbooks, worksheets, and my own HSC study notes. I offer flexible hours designed to seamlessly fit into your family's schedule and am happy to reschedule any lesson free of charge. I take immense pride in guiding my students toward academic confidence and genuine success as I know how important it was to have the right tutors around me back in high school. About the lesson

I am deeply committed to helping primary and secondary students achieve academic excellence through a comprehensive, structured, and highly specialised approach to tuition. Having navigated the HSC and successfully achieved Band 6 results, I possess a firsthand understanding of the dedication, strategy, and precision required to excel within the Australian curriculum. As a current university student, I remain closely connected to the mechanics of modern learning, allowing me to bridge the gap between complex syllabus requirements and a student's individual understanding. My approach to teaching is built on the philosophy that every student possesses a unique learning style. I dynamically adapt each session to the individual's pace, utilising interactive multimedia tools, such as real-time iPad digital whiteboards and structured visual presentations, to transform abstract concepts into clear, digestible insights.

I also provide my students with exclusive access to an expansive, meticulously organised bank of academic resources accumulated from years of high level study and teaching. This includes textbooks, comprehensive syllabus notes, exemplary essays, and targeted worksheets. Rather than relying on rote memorisation, I mentor students on the specific study habits that yield results, guiding them on how to dismantle complex exam questions and articulate their answers with precision. My pedagogical experience spans both Australian and American educational frameworks. Beyond my independent practice, I operate five days a week with a well-reputed online tutoring corporation, ensuring that my teaching methodologies are held to the highest professional standards. Hence, I offer specialised instruction across a wide academic spectrum:

Senior Prelim & HSC Mastery: English Standard and Advanced, Mathematics Standard and Advanced, Chemistry, Biology, and PDHPE.

Junior Foundations (Years 5–10): Target-driven tuition in Core Science, Mathematics, and English to build the critical foundations necessary for senior success.

Free Inaugural Session (30 mins): I believe that every successful partnership begins with clarity. Our inaugural session is a dedicated consultation where I analyse the student’s current academic standing, address any procedural questions, and collaboratively map out a personalised lesson framework.

I maintain highly flexible, extensive hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM during school holiday periods, with tailored availability throughout the school term. In addition, tuition rates are structured dynamically based on the specific year level and subject complexity.
