About Heather

Hi, my name is Heather and I’m a dedicated and experienced tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students achieve their full potential. I sat all Higher Level subjects for my Leaving Certificate and achieved strong results across the board. I went on to study History and Geography at University College Dublin (UCD), completing a Bachelor of Arts degree with a 2:1 Honors. During my undergraduate studies, I also took electives in Mathematics and Politics, giving me a broad and well-rounded academic foundation. Following this, I completed the Professional Master of Education (PME) at UCD. As part of this two-year program, I undertook full-year placements in secondary schools, where I gained hands-on teaching experience in History, Geography, Resource Math, and Learning Support. I received an A grade in my Teaching Practice module and graduated with a First Class Honors in my PME. My approach to tutoring is student-focused, supportive, and results-driven. I aim to make learning engaging and accessible for all students, no matter their starting point.
