About Juliana

Hi, I’m Juliana, I have a strong commitment to help students succeed. With experience tutoring students of various ages and learning styles, I specialize in breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand steps. My approach focuses on building confidence, developing critical thinking skills, and tailoring lessons to fit each student’s unique needs. As someone with ADHD, I understand the challenges that come with learning in traditional environments. I have successfully helped my younger sisters—both of whom have ADHD—improve their reading and math skills by using structured, engaging, and personalized teaching methods. This experience has given me valuable insight into how different students learn and how to adapt lessons to maximize their potential. I believe that every student is capable of success when given the right tools and support. Whether you need help with homework, a deeper understanding of a subject, or strategies to improve organization and study skills, I am here to guide you every step of the way. My tutoring sessions are not just about completing assignments—they’re about equipping you with the skills and confidence to excel independently.

About the lesson

I believe that every student learns differently, and my goal is to identify where they are struggling—whether with homework, a specific concept, or overall comprehension—and fill in the gaps to build their confidence. My teaching method focuses on adapting to each student’s unique needs by breaking down complex topics, providing organizational strategies, and using engaging techniques to reinforce learning.

As someone with ADHD and experience tutoring my two younger sisters (currently in 3rd and 4th grade) who also have severe ADHD, I understand the challenges that come with traditional learning environments. I have helped improve their reading and math scores by using structured yet flexible teaching strategies that differ from standard classroom instruction, tailoring lessons to their strengths.
