About Femke

I have been tutoring children of different ages in several subjects for years. I also have a lot of experience as a babysitter and as an au pair, so I am used to working with children and helping them to get ahead and help them see how much they can actually do! I studied language (linguistics) but I also have a love for mathematics, so I enjoy teaching several subjects.

About the lesson

When teaching, I always try to discover what it is exactly the student has difficulty with, and if necessary we can go back to the basics of a subject first, so they will feel more confident and it will be easier for them to improve their knowledge. I will also help the student realize in what way the topic is relevant and important, and try to make it more fun to learn. The student will soon be more enthousiastic and proud of themselves!
