About Olivia
I am a University student studying a biosciences degree at the University of Manchester. I am keen to tutor biology up to a GCSE standard. I have experience in tutoring children in a range of subjects and at varying abilities. I have worked with children through volunteering at an After School Club once a week as well as sports coaching such as hockey and netball. At GCSE I achieved seven 9s, two 8s and a 7. At A level i studied Biology, Chemistry and Geography and achieved an A* and two As.

I typically tutor for sessions around an hour but am flexible to do shorter or longer sessions. I usually run through topics by explaining the key concepts, particularly focusing on the specification for GCSE students. Then i will often do quick verbal questions throughout to make sure the student has understood my explanation. I also can help the student make revision materials such as flashcards and notes. I have tutored students in a range of subjects but particularly focusing on biology. I have tutored students up to GSCE standard.
