About Elaine
My name is Elaine, and I am 31 yrs old. I am a recreation specialist and business owner. I have a strong passion for helping others grow and succeed, especially the youth. I’ve seen recently a negative change in public school and the department of education, so I would like to be a helping hand. I bring over 40 certifications in trainings focused on supporting youth and families experiencing homelessness and domestic violence, which has strengthened my ability to connect with students from all backgrounds. I’ve gained communication skills over time and also a high level of patience. I make sure to always create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
