About Dya
Hello! My name is Dya - I am currently taking a gap year with a dedicated focus on inspiring and enhancing students’ academic achievements in Mathematics and Further Mathematics at both GCSE and A-Level. With two years of experience in tutoring Mathematics and English, I have developed a strong foundation in delivering effective and engaging lessons. My background includes tutoring English up to GCSE level, where I feel confident in providing comprehensive support. My goal is to foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to excel and reach their full potential. As a freshly graduated student, I understand the pressures of academia, and feel that due to this I am able to deliver not only high value lessons but also valuable advice for how to balance and maintain work and personal life.

My lessons are focused around the specific needs and areas of focus for each student. I aim to be flexible and open in how I teach in order to engage them and ease the pressure. I am flexible to teach students between ages 6-18, from the start of primary to the last year of college. I’ve taught various students before and from them have gained beneficial insight on the best approach to teach students and improve their results. Of course, I’m very aware that each student has their own way of learning best and I like to engage the strategies that are most effective for them in my lessons

Miss Dya is an excellent tutor. My daughter has been struggling with maths in class and her teachers at school move on before she fully understands the topic, Dya makes sure to pay attention to what my daughter needs and goes at her pace. I highly recommend!
She helped me with my Computer Science coursework alongside working on her own, and provided me with daily worked maths questions specifically made for me. I ended up getting an A in both subjects thanks to her :)
