About Cúnla
Hi! I'm Cúnla. I'm a native Irish speaker and I worked as an intern in TG4 last year. My degree in college was in Irish and History, and I've worked in Gaeltacht summer camps too.

Well, I'm here to help you find the fun in Irish again - I know that Irish is often not taught well, and I'm here to help you fill in the gaps!
Do you think History is boring?
History is made of humans' biggest stories. The way I frame and teach History is a lot more interesting than the way it's written in a big schoolbook.

I have an open communication policy with all students. This means I'll expect students to inform me what they think their gaps in learning are first, then we'll work on anything else that comes up. If one learning method isn't working for them, we can discuss alternatives. Finding humour and fun in both Irish and History, too, is a great method of studying as I have found.
My experience of teaching goes from the ages of 11-17 years old. I have a 2:1 BA in Irish and History, and received a H1 in my own Leaving Cert in Irish.
