About Moufasa
3 years ago, I was at the top of my class and suddenly, math intensified in difficulty. I became frustrated, no matter how hard I tried, nothing worked. Attempting college level problems and a tutor did not help. However, I found the way to excel in mathematics through understanding and not memorization. I have now helped every classmate I have had and helped them succeed in all of their tests. My journey through the field of math helped me gain knowledge which will help all students improve in mathematics.

Frankly, Math is not a memorization subject, it is centered around understanding. Thus when in a lesson I focus on making the student understand the topic and not memorize. I start off by giving a test depending on the student's level to gauge their strengths and weaknesses. Then, I build a weekly workout plan to improve the weaknesses, making the student ready to pursue mathematics with passion and success. I incorporate techniques such as not limited to pomodoro techniques, gamification, inquiry-based learning, and prioritizing understanding over memorization. If you struggle with the field of mathematics under grade 11, I can ensure you end up passionate, successful, and with direction.
