About Debojyoti

I am a passionate Mathematics tutor with a strong academic and professional background, committed to helping students learn with clarity, confidence, and understanding.

I am a full-time alumnus of IIM Indore and come from a background that combines analytical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application of logical concepts. Alongside teaching, I also work in consulting and business transformation, where structured thinking and quantitative reasoning play an important role every day.

Teaching Mathematics is something I genuinely enjoy because I believe Math is not only a subject but also a way of developing logical thinking and confidence. I understand that many students find Mathematics stressful or intimidating, and my goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

I am patient, professional, and focused on making concepts easy to understand through clear explanations and practical problem-solving techniques. I adapt my teaching style according to the student’s needs and learning speed, ensuring that every lesson is engaging, productive, and confidence-building.

I strongly believe that with the right guidance and approach, every student can improve in Mathematics and develop a positive attitude toward learning.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making Mathematics simple, logical, and confidence-building. I believe every student can become good at Math when concepts are explained clearly and patiently.

I do not encourage rote memorization. Instead, I help students understand the “why” behind every concept so they can solve problems independently and think analytically. My lessons are interactive, structured, and adapted to each student’s learning style and pace.

A typical lesson usually includes:

* Concept explanation in simple steps
* Guided problem-solving
* Practice questions with discussion
* Short tricks and logical techniques
* Doubt clearing and confidence building

I also focus on improving problem-solving speed, accuracy, and exam confidence while keeping the learning environment friendly and comfortable.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to combine strong academic fundamentals with practical analytical thinking from my professional background in consulting and business problem-solving. I aim not only to improve marks but also to help students develop logical thinking skills that are valuable beyond the classroom.
