About Christian

Welcome! I'm thrilled to share a bit about myself and my journey as a dedicated grammar & writing educator. With close to 20 years of experience, and degrees in Elementary and Special education, I specialize in teaching and tutoring students from 3rd through 9th grade. My passion for English and commitment to student success have driven me to continually refine my teaching methods, ensuring each student not only understands grammar & writing concepts, but also enjoys the learning process.

One-on-One Tutoring
Tutoring allows me to focus on individual students, providing personalized instruction that addresses their unique challenges and goals. I take pride in my ability to identify each student's strengths and areas for improvement, crafting customized lesson plans that foster growth and self-confidence. My one-on-one sessions are dynamic and engaging, aimed at making grammar & writing both accessible and enjoyable.
My sessions focus on the 8 parts of speech (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections), basic writing skills & sentence structure, writing essays & creative writing activities.
Personal Approach
I understand that every student learns differently. Having a special education degree and many years experience has helped me to create an approach with a customized learning experience that caters to individual needs. I use a variety of teaching tools to ensure my lessons are fun and interesting. Building a positive rapport with my students is key, as it helps create a trusting and motivating learning environment.
