About Joshua
I’ve been playing guitar since 1993, professionally since 2004. I’ve been featured on 5 studio albums, and toured with bands such as 3 Doors Down, Shinedown, Tonic, and Staind among others. I taught lessons briefly prior to 2004, and have had only a few students since then. Now looking to share my knowledge with students eager to learn the very fulfilling and enjoyable art of music on the guitar!

I’m a guitarist with a firm grasp on theory and technique, but my specialties are playing melodically, supporting vocal melodies, and unique chord voicing. Lesson plans will be custom for each student, balancing technique, theory, lead and rhythm concepts, and popular music examples interesting to the student to keep things fun!
