I am an engineering and AI student at Nottingham Uni. I enjoy teaching and solving simple and complex maths operations and explaining them to students. I was among the top 0.1% of students who took the mathematics exam (over 900000 candidates) I have tutored over 20 students and have helped them improve their grade and gain confidence when solving Mathematics questions

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring As a dedicated maths tutor specialising in both GCSE and A-Level Mathematics, my teaching approach is tailored to meet each student’s individual needs. I focus on building a strong foundation of mathematical concepts, enabling students to approach problems with confidence. I use a combination of interactive techniques, such as guided problem-solving, real-world applications, and exam-focused practice, to ensure my students not only understand the material but can also apply it effectively. Typical Lesson Structure A typical lesson lasts one hour, beginning with a quick review of previous material to reinforce learning. The main part of the lesson focuses on tackling new topics, breaking them down into manageable steps. We end with practice problems and a discussion of strategies to improve performance in exams. For A-Level students, I also incorporate deeper problem-solving and advanced concepts to prepare for higher education. Qualifications and Experience I have extensive experience teaching mathematics, with a track record of helping students achieve excellent grades. Over the years, I’ve worked with students of varying abilities, guiding them to surpass their predicted grades. My knowledge of the GCSE and A-Level curriculum is up-to-date, and I understand the common challenges students face, which allows me to address them effectively. Who My Lessons Are For My lessons are suitable for students preparing for their GCSEs or A-Levels, regardless of their current level. I work with students aged 14–18 and adapt my teaching methods to cater to beginners seeking clarity, as well as advanced learners aiming for top grades.
