About Betsy

I am a highly dedicated ESL tutor with 17 years of experience teaching High School and College students, and I have successfully guided around 150–200 learners in improving their English skills. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clarity, and building confidence in every student.

I believe that learning a language should be a comfortable and encouraging experience, so I create a positive environment where students feel free to ask questions and express themselves without fear.

I focus on all core areas of English, including speaking, writing, reading, and listening, using real-life examples and interactive activities to make lessons practical and engaging. I carefully adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace and goals, ensuring steady progress.

One of my proudest achievements is seeing students transform from hesitant learners into confident communicators who perform well in exams and real-life situations. I am committed to helping every student reach their full potential with consistent guidance and support.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology is built on creativity, critical thinking, mentorship, and accountability. I aim to make learning English engaging, practical, and effective. I use creative methods such as storytelling, role-play, real-life examples, and interactive activities.

I encourage students to think critically and express their ideas clearly. This helps them improve both their language skills and confidence. As a mentor, I guide students with patience and understanding, helping them overcome challenges.

I understand that every student is unique, so I adapt my teaching approach to match their needs. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated.

Accountability is an important part of my teaching. I set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback. I encourage students to stay consistent and take responsibility for their learning.

In addition to ESL, I teach related subjects to support academic growth. My goal is to help students become confident, fluent, and independent learners.
