About Samuel

Hello future students! I'm Samuel, a passionate tutor who’s eager to help you achieve your best in mathematics. I'm currently studying electrical engineering and computer science at UNSW, where I maintain a High Distinction WAM. I’m an avid runner and even ran the Sydney Marathon last year. I also worked on Sunswift, UNSW's solar race car project, and absolutely love everything to do with computers and engineering.

With a 99.95 ATAR and three years of private tutoring experience, I specialize in standard and advanced HSC maths, as well as extension 1. I love creating personalized lessons that resonate with each student's unique learning style and goals, making maths engaging and accessible.

Outside of studying and tutoring, I find joy in cooking and staying active. I'm hardworking and dedicated to helping you unlock your potential in maths. Let's work together to overcome challenges, achieve your goals, and build a strong foundation for your academic success!

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is centered around each student's unique learning style and goals. I start by understanding where you're at and what you aim to achieve in mathematics. My lessons focus on reinforcing core concepts and applying them to solve problems creatively and effectively.

Sessions are highly interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and practice problem-solving with guidance. I use real-world examples and past exam questions to make the material relatable, helping you understand how mathematical concepts apply beyond the classroom.

Each lesson is typically 60 minutes, giving us enough time to deeply explore topics without overwhelming you. My aim is to build your confidence and improve your skills, ensuring that each lesson brings progress toward your academic goals.

Whether you're preparing for the HSC exams or need support with challenging coursework, I adapt my teaching methods to suit your needs. With a 99.95 ATAR and years of experience, I’m here to offer guidance and empower you to succeed in mathematics.
