About Callum
My name is Callum and I am a Year 11 student in Manchester, currently achieving the top grades in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, a nine. A few interesting facts about me are that I can play five instruments, I'm of mixed ethnic descent, I love the performing arts, have a strong passion for all of the science disciplines and I am hopefully aiming for Medical school. I always strive to achieve the best for myself and the people around me and for the students that I have tutored that is at the forefront of everything I do. I have a strong personality, but I'm actually very kind once you get to know me. I promise you that I will listen and work with you to achieve your personal best, I'm a fun person with a great aptitude for knowledge in the three science disciplines and I'm hoping that will shine through in our sessions.

I believe in a different approach, student to student teaching. Who understands a student best? A student. I believe that Biology, and the other science disciplines, should be open to everyone and this will be heavily featured during our sessions. I have the ability to teach all the way up to GCSE and in our very first session, I will work with you to put a learning plan together to focus on what you need help with the most, from the very basic structure of the cell in our body to the complex processes of Endo and Exocytosis, from osmosis to Homeostasis, what you need will be at the centre of everything we do. The typical lesson length will last an hour in length, however, I can be flexible around you and your commitments. During these sessions, we will go over concepts that you don't understand and apply that knowledge, once you are comfortable with, to a series of exam questions focusing on the knowledge that we have just learned and looking at what is exactly needed in an answer to gain marks and ultimately achieve those tp grades in Biology or Chemistry (I have the ability to teach both). I have tutored many people in y school from Year 7 all the way up to Year 11 using this same method and they have found this time to be constructive and useful, all saying that learning from someone their own age has helped them retain this knowledge as it has been delivered to them Ia way that they understand.
