I am an engineering graduate who has been teaching for over 5 years. I have taught many students both in schools and privately. Over the years, I have prepared many students for external examinations and the results have been fantastic.

I have noticed over the years that most students have a problem with Mathematics because each topic doesn't stand it's own. A topic is a prerequisite for others, hence the need to tackle the problem at its root. To make the lessons worthwhile. I conduct a competency-based test before I take on any class with a student so as to know their individual needs.
Also, at the beginning of each class, I make sure the objectives are spelled out clearly and met. Most importantly, I conduct tests for my students regularly to serve as a means of feedback. I try to be friendly with my students by creating an environment that relaxes them but at the same time I do not compromise on discipline.
