About Tyler
Hello My name is Tyler Shimano I am ranked 9 of 670 I am first generation immigrant originating from Japan. Japanese was my first language and grew up speaking it. Every summer I go to Japan to study and hone my Japanese as well as be a teacher's aide as a volunteer at my brother's elementary school in Japan.

My teaching style heavily focuses on learning to speak the language as learning to speak it translates far easier to listening than the other way around. We will practice proper uses of certain words, how to sound off on certain intonations and learning vocabulary.
