About Toby
I am a year 13 at St Peter's College. I love working with others and especially love sharing what I know. I am the top French student in St Peter's College, achieving 92% in my year 11 examination, and 91% in my year 12 Examination. Additionally, I have spent 2 months on a French exchange to Nantes in Western France. I would love the opportunity to help beginner students, young or old, to gain a sound understanding of the French language.

In the past, I have tutored younger students at St Peter's. With them, I enjoyed putting an emphasis on proper pronunciation, and also began to understand the importance of putting beginners into the mindset of a literate French speaker, as it is important to be able to develop the skill of actually thinking in French. I also strive to make learning fun, and attempt to teach students about French culture as well as just the language.
