About Lauren

I am a person with a passion for nature, and all that that entails. I began engaging in tutoring straight out of high school, and was selected as a subject tutor in my second year of university. I tutored throughout and eventually progressed to assisting with lectures up until Covid hit last year. I am currently in the process of publishing scientific articles based on my master's research, and miss the interaction with students. Seeing their interest and passion blossoming brings me immense satisfaction, and I hope to bring this to all my tutoring classes. I graduated with distinction in all of my degrees and I understand what it takes to be successful academically, not only in producing results but in building relationships with people in the industry you hope to work in.

About the lesson

I tailor each session to the needs of the student, focusing not only on the subject matter but also on providing the tools for future success. My expertise and experience lie in biology, geography, English, botany, zoology, tourism, research methodologies, and most importantly study methods. I am comfortable tutoring from Grade 8 up to university level subjects.
