About Thomas

I am Thomas Songer, M.Ed., CI, a master’s-level English educator specializing in SAT Preparation and AP Language & Literature instruction. With 21 years of experience in curriculum design and advanced literacy coaching, I help students strengthen analytical reading, rhetorical writing, and test-aligned strategies. My approach combines expert guidance, clear structure, and individualized support to ensure meaningful progress and confidence. I offer a complimentary 15-minute Discovery Call to determine each student’s needs and create a personalized success plan.

About the lesson

Introducing my new lesson rate: $45 for all sessions on Superprof.com. My SAT and AP Language & Literature prep lessons deliver structured, master’s-level instruction that strengthens advanced reading, writing, and critical analysis skills. Drawing on my M.Ed. background, I guide students through test-aligned strategies, high-scoring essay techniques, passage analysis methods, and essential vocabulary development. Each session is fully personalized, goal-driven, and designed for measurable score growth. New students also receive a free Discovery Lesson—an opportunity to assess learning goals, ensure a great fit, and create a customized study plan that leads to confident, consistent progress.
