About Nicola

I enjoy helping others to succeed and achieve their goals. I have tutored disadvantaged students through Edmund Rice and have supported students through my current work and my teacher placements. Teaching makes me happy and fulfilled. I have always enjoyed supporting students. Seeing a smile on their face, is what keeps me happy.

About the lesson

I use a range of teaching strategies to assist students. I am very patient and like to use various examples, images, in-depth explanations, mind-maps, use of conversations and building up their confidence by providing as much support as I can. I like to show students various ways of approaching questions and techniques they can use to break down what a question may be asking. I also like to provide as many resources as I can and keep a record of their improvement and also skills, that may still require further attention and improvement.
