About Presley
My name is Presley and I am a student at the University of Western Australia doing my Bachelor of Arts majoring in English and History. I will graduate with this degree at the end of 2023.
I excelled in high school in the subjects I found interesting and fun (particularly English and History) and chose to pursue them at a higher level due to this interest.
I have a real passion for learning and would love to help students find this themselves.
I graduated high school in 2019 and understand that it can be a challenging time in many ways. I hope that I can help alleviate the academic stresses by helping you become more confident, and maybe even find some joy, in the subjects you study.

Teaching relies on a cooperative, respectful relationship between the tutor and student. Lessons would involve helping students understand their coursework, providing resources to aid in learning, and active communication with the student in order to accomplish the best results.
I achieved high marks at an ATAR level in the subjects I offer, and have gone on to study English and History at UWA due to the passion I have for the subjects. Have achieved multiple High Distinctions/Distinctions at a University level.
Lessons are aimed at ATAR students studying any of the following:
Modern History :specialties include WWII Germany - particularly the historiography of Nazism, Soviet Union 1900-2000, history of Christianity, Australia pre-Federation (including history of the Noongar people), and more.
English ATAR
Religious Education ATAR
I am equally happy to cater to any students needing help with English or Religion at the General course level.
Typical length of a lesson would be 60 minutes, although I am happy to be flexible with this.
