I have had experience in tutoring whilst at University as I am a mentor at Physics Mentoring Wales in which we would travel to secondary schools across Wales to encourage students to pursue Physics at A Level. I have also been a tutor during sixth-form and have volunteered at my local primary school in Birmingham.
I believe lessons that have a duration between 45 mins and 1hr30 would be best as the student can absorb maximum information without being overloaded or losing concentration.
I am visual and learner myself so I would aim to make the lessons as interactive and visually appealing as possible whilst ensuring that I keep us on track and focused on the topic.
I also have a wide range of educational backgrounds as I studied at an independent girls high school on a full academic scholarship, followed by going to a prestigious grammar school for my A Level studies. Now, I study at great university where I have further strengthened my mathematical abilities.
I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics at A Level and was awarded 9 A*s and 2 As at GCSE
