About Doose

Bilingual - English and French, and originally from Nigeria, I started learning French way back in elementary school. I believe that language is the way to a people's heart. I have experienced and enjoyed being a part of communities of people of different languages and cultures.

From enjoying the tasty baguettes and sweet pineapples on the streets of Cotonou, to embracing the Senegalese thiebou djeun and the connection that a shared "pot" of ataya with the friends in the neighbourhood brings, from Dakar to Thies to Gorée, within and without, I understands the language learning journey well and I am excited to help you excel (SPEAK French)!

I am looking froward to helping you explore and express the different aspects of French culture and language. I hope that you are as just as excited about this journey as I am. You are the reason that I am here!

About the lesson

This class is ideal for learners ages 16+. The goal of this class is to help you explore the French language and culture in context through resources that offer opportunities for listening to native speakers and activities that challenge you to speak French from the get-go.
Classes are typically 45 minutes long and include formative assessments.
